It’s a great pleasure to have made your acquaintance in the village. I gave your signed copy of your first volume to an American friend who came to stay a couple of years ago. Her son is a Tolkien fan ( officianado!) I only read the Hobbit at school but will read his famous trilogy when I put down Hilary Mantel, which I had for Christmas!
